Looking out your window – Description

Description Student activity Phases / timeline Resources Objectives

This important project is created to help the students to think beyond what they think when they get an opportunity to:

  • Think what their partners think……
  • Feel what their partners feel……….
  • See what their parteners see………

The project improves the students’ ability and creativity to imagine and to draw pictures according to their perceptions about their partners.
The project allows to  compare whether what they thought about their partners were correct.

Teachers after being matched, will  talk to students about their respective partner countries by using maps and other resources. Then they will ask their students to imagine what their respective partners – looking  out of their bed room window – might they see. Lastly, ask them to write a short text, to draw their imaginary pictures and share with partners.

TARGET AGE GROUP: This project is for any age group. It’s suitable for EFL students at the basic level.

Enrollement Deadline: April 1
Start of the activities: April 27
End of activities: May. 30

If teacher wants, students can participate even by creating by themselves pages where to type their perceptions and drawings and make the teacher’s work more easy. This can mean greater involvement and responsibility for students. How to participate – Kidspace for Students
