The Kidlink Project<\/strong> is an education effort by volunteer teachers around the world.\u00a0 T<\/span><\/span>eachers and students participate in these projects for free.\u00a0 We accept donations from any Friends of Kidlink to pay for our web hosting and domain renewals via webmasters.com. The director, Terry Smith sends out twice yearly updates on the status of web server expenditures and ongoing project details.<\/span><\/p>\n

How Are Donations Used by the Kidlink Project?
\n<\/strong>Free Kidlink Projects cannot be managed without funding. Server web hosting fees and paying for domain renewals requires approximately $300 each year.\u00a0 \u00a0These expenses are the only thing we use donations for. All project leaders volunteer their time without pay. We do not get any funding from other sources, so being a donator is a way to support Kidlink. Donations of any size ($10-$20-$30 and up) help to fund our efforts.\u00a0 We are not a 501(c)(3) organization. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Donating with PayPal<\/strong>
\nYou do not need a PayPal account to donate, because PayPal also allows payments with a credit card. Kidlink can only accept PayPal or credit card funds. Why Donate to the Kidlink Project?
\n<\/strong>You are or have been involved in Kidlink activities or want to do so. You are a person who believes that global education and communication is important for our students and for the future of the world. You might be interested in getting more involved in Kidlink if you are a teacher and want to become a Kidlink Project leader. <\/span><\/p>\n

Our Purpose<\/strong>
\nKidlink began offering educational projects in 1990 when the Internet was very young.\u00a0 Our purpose then and now is to to promote a global dialogue among the youth of the world. We aim to accomplish this with volunteer project leaders and participating supportive classroom teachers. The projects are created and developed through an international collaboration of volunteers and are offered to schools, organizations, and youth around the world for free.<\/span><\/p>\n
