{"id":4184,"date":"2022-06-02T15:31:07","date_gmt":"2022-06-02T15:31:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kidlink.net\/?page_id=4184"},"modified":"2025-11-22T15:44:36","modified_gmt":"2025-11-22T15:44:36","slug":"kidlink-definition","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.kidlink.net\/index.php\/project-center\/kidlink-definition\/","title":{"rendered":"Kidlink Projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Definition of a Kidlink Project<\/span><\/h1>\n<p><b>Updated 3\/10\/25<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For a project to be defined as a Kidlink Project with a Kidlink logo,\u00a0 the manager follows basic\u00a0 rules.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The purpose of the Kidlink Project is to promote a global dialogue and learning among the youth of the world.\u00a0 <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This means that the project attempts to encourage <\/span><b>dialog among the participating students.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Kidlink Director &amp; Co-director\u00a0 must have admin access to project<\/span><b> Facebook groups.<\/b><b>\n<p><\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The manager must respect <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kidlink.net\/index.php\/the-kidlink-project\/kidlink-netiquette\/\"><b>the Kidlink Netiquette guidelines<\/b><\/a><b>.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Have a <\/span><b>project information page<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 on <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kidlink.net\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">www.kidlink.net<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> project center<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Student identities must be protected.<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Always be Available for the participating teachers to answer questions or reply to information.<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Be clear, understanding and patient\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Check that phase deadlines are respected.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kindly remind teachers who are late or not following project rules.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Keep the teacher dialog alive.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Help teachers document student activity\/interactions in a viewable internet tool (Padlet, Wakelet, Google Docs.
