A privacy infringement

Dear visitor
The google group at  https://groups.google.com/g/finet.freenet.kidlink.response  contains answers from childrens sent between 1997 and 2000 to Kidlink as part of our REPONSE PROJECT.
The children’s answers were all sent to a Listserv list from about 1990 until the Kidlink Association took over and stopped this 2009.
The freenet system got somehow subscription to this list between 1997 and 2000 and fed the messages into their systems so the childrens answers reached their subscribers.
We have been informed that The Kidlink Society did not give anyone specific permission to do this.
The freenet newsgroups became later part of the google groups, as we see them today.
These answers are unfortunately set public domain by those who once created the group.
The Kidlink Association deplores this and would like this group to be eliminated as it is an offence for the childrens privacy, children who once participated in the 4Q project. This damages the name of the Kidlink Project.
The Kidlink Association has since 2009 taken over several of the Kidlink Projects and has changed servers and services in order to protect the privacy of old and new members. Kidlink Association was at that time never given ownership of finet.freenet.kidlink.response.
We got knowledge about this group by a visitor who sent us an abuse mail in early 2012.
The Kidlink Association has tried to get ownership of the finet.freenet.kidlink.response group to remove this content from the public domain. We have also contacted the former Chairman of Kidlink Society to get help. Google does not answer and officers in Kidlink Society have no passwords to access the group.
The Kidlink Association, registered in 2009 in Sweden protects all their registered user’s data and has done its best to protect children who have participated in earlier projects. We tried to get this group eliminated but without success. We really appreciate any help to achieve this.

do this:

  1. Please use the Google “Report abuse” option, the  [!] button, to be found on the upper side of the email window.
  2. Check “Personal and private information“. As Google writes “Note that email addresses and full names are not considered private information.” but the childrens answers may.
The more we are using this option, the more likely it is that Google will take action. When a mail has been reported as abuse it is automatically hidden in the list.
  3. As you are the copyright owner of your answers, fill the form at http://support.google.com/bin/static.py?hl=en&ts=1114905&page=ts.cs
  4. Contact Google. Check http://www.google.com/intl/en/contact/
Thank you
for your help and cooperation
