Description Student activity Phases / timeline Objectives

This project needs a new project manager …
This project needs a set of instructions for how the project works…

The new project will be run with tools of the Manager’s choice. We have Moodle available for classrooms, a Facebook group, and other tools such as Google docs, Padlet, Flipgrid, etc could be used.

This project is created to help the students to think beyond what they think when they get an opportunity to:

  • Think what their partners think……
  • Feel what their partners feel……….
  • See what their partners see………

The project improves the student’s ability and creativity to imagine and draw pictures according to their perceptions of their partners. The project allows comparing whether what they thought about their partners was correct.

Teachers after being matched will talk to students about their respective partner countries by using maps and other resources. Then they will ask their students to imagine what their respective partners – looking out of their bedroom window – might they see. Lastly, ask them to write a short text, to draw their imaginary pictures and share with partners.

TARGET AGE GROUP: This project is for any age group. It’s suitable for EFL students at the basic level.

If the teacher wants, students can participate even by creating by themselves pages where to type their perceptions and drawings and make the teacher’s work easier. This can mean greater involvement and responsibility for students.
